I'm Rico. I build software and AI-driven workflows, mostly solo, with tools like Claude Code, local LLMs and ComfyUI in the loop. Some of it ships as its own product, some solves a specific problem for someone else. When something breaks, I want to know why.

in useTurns an author's own blog posts into a finished non-fiction book: import, outline, chapters, revision, export. The rule that shaped everything: content comes from the author, not the model.

in progressA prompt-in, image-out studio that sits in front of ComfyUI. It drives your existing workflows over ComfyUI's own API, so there is no second model stack to maintain. Static app, no build step, share the folder and go.

workingDesktop voice recorder on a global hotkey. Speak, get a transcript, then pick a format: raw, structured, summary, or shaped for an email, a post or meeting notes. Result lands in the clipboard. Bring your own OpenAI or Claude key.
VidPrompt AI
shippedSingle-file app that writes model-specific prompts for Kling, WAN and Veo. Runs entirely in the browser on your own Claude key, with a library, cheat sheet and DE/EN switch. No install, no account, no tracking.
X5 Field Companion
shipped · freeOffline guide and rule-based setup planner for Insta360 X5 owners. Four questions in, a concrete camera setup and packing list out. DE/EN, dark and light, checklists saved locally. Deliberately no AI call: it has to work in the field.
Vid4me
archivedLocal image and video generation desktop app: Electron UI, Python backend, model plugins for Wan 2.2 and Chroma, LoRA stacking, portable build. Paused once it was clear ComfyUI would always be ahead of the model ecosystem. ComfyDeck is the answer to that.

Who I am
I'm Rico, based near Dresden, Germany. Trained as a state-certified technical assistant for automation and computer technology, which is the long way of saying: I've been taking computers apart and putting them back together, in hardware and in code, since before it was a job.
Today I build software, mostly solo, with AI in the loop where it speeds things up and out of the loop where it doesn't. I've followed AI from the first usable models and work with it every day. Not as a trend, but as a tool I know well enough to know where it breaks.
What drives me is the technology itself. The rough idea, the first ugly prototype, the bug at 11pm, the moment it finally runs.
